Customers Are Able to Deploy Spendgo’s Loyalty System Quickly and Independent of the POS
Recently, in conjunction with Shoptalk, Spendgo, a provider of personalized customer engagement solutions for restaurants and retailers, announced it is showing integration of its platform with Epson’s cloud environment - OmniLink Merchant Services (OMS), allowing its clients to utilize real-time measured transaction data for tailored customer loyalty, gift and engagement solutions without POS integration. Shoptalk will be held May 15-18, at the Aria in Las Vegas, booth T-82A. Spendgo will also demo the solution with Epson at NRA from May 21-24, McCormick Chicago.
Spendgo is part of Epson’s OMS suite of innovative cloud and mobile apps that leverage real-time data that can be sourced from the Epson receipt printer, independent of the incumbent POS system(s). At Shoptalk and NRA, Spendgo will demonstrate how a loyalty tablet can utilize real-time measured transaction data from Epson’s OMS platform to deliver rewards and discounts to customers based on their purchase patterns. Pulling data from the Epson receipt printer instead of the POS allows easy access to all transaction and business data in real-time without costly and intrusive POS integration, POS upgrades or standardization. The solution is designed to truly future proof IT and data investments long term.
“We partner with world class software providers,” said Joel Doherty, global business development leader for Epson’s Business Systems Division. “Spendgo brings tremendous expertise in loyalty marketing and by participating in the Epson cloud allows its customers to roll out a leading loyalty program regardless of their in-store POS systems and thereby future proof their investment.”
“We are honored to partner with Epson,” said Ivan Matkovic, founder and CEO of Spendgo. “Our business is about engagement and about knowing the needs and behavior of customers and reacting to those needs with tailored promotions. The joint platform with Epson provides our customers with fantastic marketing capabilities not previously available and we are already working with five clients who will be live by the end of this month.”
