ADT announces another critical element of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) solution. The Sensormatic SensorID™ Compliance Lab provides RFID compliance testing services for consumer goods manufacturers and retailers looking to meet the recently announced mass merchandiser RFID compliance requirements.
Since RFID technology is at "early adopter" stages, ensuring a high-confidence level requires testing all products together (labels, antennas, readers, software) and making sure they are in compliance with RFID mandates. Compliance Lab professionals has have over 10 years of Source Tagging certification experience, including plus UHF and onsite RFID field services experience at various customer distribution centers and warehouse sites.
The SensorID Compliance Lab replicates warehouse conditions to simulate a customer's warehouse or distribution center. Testing is performed using the integrated family of SensorID products. The SensorID Compliance Lab provides documented assurance prior to field deployments that the technology will deliver the necessary supply chain information at desired performance levels. The final report details the testing results and offers recommendations to maximize the customer's RFID requirements.
