SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Shane Brown of Big Daddy’s Antiques is an antiques hunter and furniture designer, well-known for outfitting celebrity homes and high-end retail spaces. Brown travels the world in search of one-of-a-kind vintage pieces and his retail locations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Aspen and Seattle house his vast antiques collections and original custom pieces. Pauline Boyd is the Los Angeles-based textile artist behind Counterpane Quilts. Inspired by the quilt making tradition of Gee’s Bend, Alabama and Japanese Boro techniques, she has created her own modern masterpieces updating the art of conventional quilt construction with the use of vintage clothing and exotic textiles. Both Brown and Boyd, known for their eclectic processes, have partnered with the Pottery Barn design team to create exclusive furniture and textile designs that bring an artistic sensibility to the Pottery Barn home.

“We are excited to unveil these capsule collections as part of our summer assortment. We’ve known Shane for more than fifteen years and have always admired his keen eye for design and ability to curate a thoughtful, eclectic mix of antiques from around the world,” said Sandra Stangl, President, Pottery Barn Brands. “Pauline’s approach to quilt making is an inspiring combination of traditional techniques and unconventional artistry. Her collection for Pottery Barn offers our customers heirloom quality quilts and pillows that complement any home.”

Big Daddy’s for Pottery Barn furniture encompasses the essence of treasure hunter and furniture designer Shane Brown. Established in 1996 in Los Angeles, California, Brown’s Big Daddy’s Antiques has curated a collection of one-of-a-kind antique finds and originally inspired pieces from Asia, Europe, and North America.
