Erin Harris, the Chief Editor of Innovative Retail Technologies (IRT), and Jim Roddy, the President of IRT and Business Solutions, have been named Top Retail Influencers for 2016 by Vend, a developer of POS software.
The list consists of the retail industry’s top analysts, reporters, researchers, and professionals, according to the Vend website.
Harris has been a member of the IRT editorial team since joining Jameson Publishing in 2008. She recently directed the transition of the brand from Integrated Solutions for Retailers to Innovative Retail Technologies. Harris heads up IRT’s magazine, website, daily email newsletter, social media, and webinars and frequently speaks at retail industry trade shows and conferences. She is regarded as an expert on the subjects of omni-channel retail and customer experience technologies.

Since Roddy joined Jameson Publishing in 1998, he has educated retail executives through national magazine articles, online columns, webinars, podcasts, video interviews, and presentations at national conferences. He is an Executive Committee member and Past Chairman of the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA) and regularly speaks at retail-focused conferences. He is also author of the business book Hire Like You Just Beat Cancer.
