Joint Solution Delivers Essential Components for a Complete Mobile POS System for Windows Users
Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, recently announced that Novaux, developer of Sabor POS, a restaurant POS platform for Windows 8 and 10, has certified Epson’s OmniLink® TM-T88V-i and TM-T20II-i smart printers, and the TM-T20II POS receipt printer. Novaux is in the process of evaluating Epson’s TM-U220 receipt/kitchen printer and the Mobilink P20 and P80 mobile printers as well. The company is using the certified Epson printers to bring a completely integrated POS solution to their restaurant customers. The joint solution is available from Novaux today.
The Epson OmniLink T20II-i and T88V-i are used as the primary receipt printers for Novaux’s dine-in restaurants. The printers’ unique ePOS™ technology enables Novaux’s Sabor POS platform to communicate directly with connected peripherals such as scanners, scales and customer displays at the restaurant site. Novaux is using the Epson TM-T20II Ethernet version as a kitchen printer.
“Novaux has created a restaurant POS platform that gives restaurant managers who are using Windows devices the same functionality as those who are using iPad POS systems,” said Tom Kettell, director, commercial channel sales at Epson. “We are proud to partner with such a forward looking company that is leading the way in making sure Windows users can benefit from the best POS solutions as well.”
“Epson’s leading POS printer solutions are the ideal fit for our Sabor POS platform,” said Javier Dutan, CEO at Novaux. “Our platform is designed with the new “modern” interface cues and built specifically for the missing POS gap in the Windows marketplace. Epson printers support all the leading operating systems, including Windows, so together, we can provide the Windows community with real POS tools.”
